Tehran reports attacking a American military facility in Manama, as the country executed missile attacks throughout the Middle East in response for a large-scale and continuing attack targeting the nation by the United States and Israeli forces.

The Ministry of Defence of the UAE said in a statement that the country has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".

"UAE air defence systems engaged the missiles with notable success and shot down a number of missiles," the statement continued.

Officials reported debris fell on a residential area in the capital, resulting in some structural damage and the death of one civilian.

The United States Air Force is stationed at Al Dhafra Air Base, south of Abu Dhabi, along with the UAE Air Force.
