Truss elaborated she would lay bare how an "worldwide alliance of leftists work to subvert the democratic process and the electorate's mandate."

"Our focus will be on the Trump revolution and see how it can be achieved in Britain," the former PM stated. "We will interview the key figures of the Maga movement."

In advance of the series premiere, there was one particularly enthusiastic supporter. "This marks the start of a type of political shift," said John Solomon. The right-leaning Just the News platform will host the ex-PM's new audio shows.

Establishing Ties in the Maga-Verse

Compatriot supporters, featuring a counselor supportive of Reform, assisted in her launch the her new show. The production is adequate, if basic. The show has attracted a subscriber base of 10k in her initial seven days and her debut garnered sixty-seven thousand views across the same period.

This represents a modest start, but in partnering with the journalist, the former PM is being thrust into a established right-wing media network producing and amplifying Maga talking points. Its obsessions involve accusations of information control by the traditional news outlets and a goal to eradicate a shadowy government apparatus – which she attributes her downfall to for the swift end of her disastrous time in office.

"The platform is not famous beyond the pro-Trump media sphere, but it does have credibility there, primarily thanks to Solomon, who gives commentary on pro-Trump shows like the program hosted by Steve Bannon and has even spoken with Trump," noted an anthropology expert, who has analyzed the Maga movement.

A Divisive Associate

Her effort to bring the pro-Trump media model to the United Kingdom has drawn her nearer to controversial figures such as John Solomon.

He founded his media outlet in the wake of scrutiny after he was accused of circulating inaccurate reports about the President's actions in the Eastern European nation, as well as contentious articles about one-time diplomat to the region.

Solomon's reporting were echoed throughout the pro-Trump media, with he featuring as a regular guest on Sean Hannity's influential Fox News program. The former president personally boosted his stories.

He wrote the Ukraine claims in a series of columns for the political newspaper the political newspaper, after having been re-labelled as a columnist after colleagues complained about his work. His narratives were pivotal in Trump's demand for the officials in Kyiv to investigate the Bidens in 2019. Those demands culminated in articles of impeachment against Trump. The Senate later voted to acquit the then-president.

Not long after the journalist departed the publication in October 2019, the publication stated it was conducting a review of his work concerning Ukraine. It found he had cited unreliable sources and stated he "did not disclose important details about key Ukrainian sources, such as the reality that they had been indicted or were the subject of inquiries."

Becoming Part of the Sphere

His TV and radio guest spots are a example of the conservative ecosystem the former prime minister is becoming part of. Solomon mentioned his backing of Truss's project on a broadcast he helps run on the right-wing channel, a conservative television outlet that is home to the conservative firebrand former adviser Steve Bannon and on which Tucker Carlson also features. She has already spoken with Bannon on one of her first podcasts.

In linking up with Solomon and Just the News, the former leader has become a minor player in a much wider network of right-wing publications that frequently share and promote one another's material.

His personal programs have frequently included personalities such as Mike Benz, a political voice whose criticism of USAID was cited by the tech billionaire as justification for shutting down the government body.

An International Strategy

While the former PM's unnatural presentation and professional woes have drawn derision at home, some US observers do not dismiss her efforts to reinvent herself as a local version of the Make America Great Again press.

"It is necessary to treat people like Truss as significant, despite the fact that you may not want to interpret them word-for-word," said a Democratic strategist, who served in the Obama White House.

"Observers witnessed how in 2024 the former president leveraged that ecosystem to spread his narrative. Certainly that ecosystem transmits and affects debate abroad. It looks relatively clear to me that the circumstances in the United Kingdom are comparable to what allowed this parallel press sphere to thrive in America."

Alan Finlayson, said the internet-based conservative network was already having an impact in the UK.

"The internet is borderless," he said. "There is a certain environment within which content circulates – at times manifesting in radical ways and occasionally in softer tones – but which is connected."

Professor Hinton said the growth of the online right in the UK lately meant the "chance to have a larger effect is significant."

A Transatlantic Ambition
